13th

Today is the 13th of August 2011. I almost forgot that today is my dad's birthday. I want to say something about my dad but I'd rather not because I might get too emotional hahaha...We don't talked that much and we are not vocal of how we feel. We are not that close unlike my sister Hazel. Even though we are that strange I know for a fact that he will always be there in times I'll need him the most (I've already proven that). He may not be a perfect father but he is a good one. Hey! no one is perfect in this big crazy world right?

He may not read this but I still want to say thank you dad for every thing and have a happy birthday! This one's for you...

Until Then

Last night, I was checking my Facebook account and saw an album of pictures taken during the wake and funeral of the daughter of my dad's friend. I cried just by looking at those pictures. My heart bleeds for them because I can feel their pain that they are going through. We also gone through the same thing. Their daughter died of a vehicular accident. She was driving the motorcycle too fast without a helmet on. She stayed in the ICU fighting for dear life but she was called home by God on the 10th day. My sister died on a road accident 7  years ago.

Reunited

Today marks the 7th year of losing someone dear to us, my sister. We lost her in a road accident 7 years ago. Every year since she left us, we gather in our farm where we buried our dear departed ones. My dad made a space in the farm intended as a family mausoleum so that when we want to visit them during All Souls day we don't have to hopped from one cemetery to the other. Time & energy saving!
